Laurent Kergall was born and raised in Paris, France to a French father and an American mother originally from Hawaii. In 2001, he moved to Hawaii, where he now resides with his Hawaiian wife and their twin boys. With a career in the airline and travel industry, Laurent Kergall has developed a deep appreciation for global connections and diverse cultures. He is passionate about travel, food, and French cooking.

In 2025, he joined the Alliance Française of Hawaii to share his love for French culture and language with the community.
