The Alliance Française Hawaii in partnership with University of Hawaii’s School of Music proudly presents internationally renowned pianist, Mark Markham, in a concert of French music inspired by literature and nature, including music of Debussy, Ravel and Liszt. The program will also include a special performance of Poulenc’s “L’Histoire de Babar” with the Honorary Consul of France in Hawaii, Guillaume Maman, as the Narrator! The concert will take place in Orvis Hall at the University of Hawaii at 3pm on October 9th with a post event VIP champagne tasting and reception with the artist to follow at the private residence Villa Émilie at from 5-7pm.
