Stacey is a local girl from Mililani and has always had a deep love and appreciation for all things French. Her family tree includes ancestors who came from Marseille and from Acadie (Acadia, a former colony of New France, now known as Nova Scotia, Canada).
She has served as President of her high school French club and received her BA in French Language and Literature from UH. She taught French for several years at various elementary schools in the World Languages Dept, as well as ESL.
In addition to being our Events Chair, she is the editor of the AFH newsletter La Chronique des îles and enjoys organizing fun events like La fête des rois and Mardi Gras for our members!
