Saloua Adjir grew up in Algeria, where French is an essential part of everyday life and where French is taught from a young age. Immersed in this rich heritage, she developed a deep love for the French language and culture. This passion led her to earn a Master's degree from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, where she also taught for two years.
Now, at Leeward Community College, she is thrilled to inspire and educate her students daily. Teaching is her calling, allowing her to share her enthusiasm for French culture. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and exploring new culinary adventures, often connecting through the beauty of French cuisine.
Her journey from Algeria to Hawai'i has been one of growth and a profound commitment to education. Saloua looks forward to continuing to inspire her students and share the wonders of French culture.
