LEVEL 2- Advanced Beginners French Class for Adults: Session 2 - 2024

The course is  offered online via Zoom which will allow students to interact with each other as well as the instructor from the comfort of their own homes. The weekly one-hour class will go by quickly as you learn to read, write, and speak in French. You will have conversations with your classmates and optional homework. Classes are at a 1:5 ratio so that every student has the opportunity to speak.  Invite a friend to take the course with you and be your travel companion on your weekly trip to France with the Alliance Française! 

In this class, you will learn all the basics of the French language. For example:

• Talk about personal hygiene using reflexive verbs
• Use past and future tense to talk about events
• Present family members using possessive adjectives
• Navigate around an airport, train station and asking for a taxi
• How to behave in an emergency situation in a French speaking country 
• Learn about Francophone culture and places such as Québec and Switzerland
