LEVEL 1- Beginners French Class for Adults: Session 2- 2024

The course is  offered online via Zoom which will allow students to interact with each other as well as the instructor from the comfort of their own homes. The weekly one-hour class will go by quickly as you learn to read, write, and speak in French. You will have conversations with your classmates and optional homework. Classes are at a 1:5 ratio so that every student has the opportunity to speak.  Invite a friend to take the course with you and be your travel companion on your weekly trip to France with the Alliance Française! 

In this class, you will learn all the basics of the French language. For example:

• Greetings
• To spell and to count
• To ask for help
• Order food in a restaurant
• Ask for directions
• Learn about Francophone cultures such as how the French eat and what they eat! You will learn about Paris, Lyon and Bruxelles
